Today we’ll review an animation feature what was once called japanimation and now is famous as anime over the net has a rich history of epics, the most recognized pioneer of those epics is Hayao Miyazaki who’s been called the Walt Disney of Japan, he sure said thankya kindly fuck Disney but the day has come and we see one of his works distributed by Disney™ themselves in the US and probably will be still in in Europe.

I seen some of his popular previous works as Mononokee Hime (Princess Mononokee to some) , Kiki's Delivery Service and of his first epics Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds.. While all of them share the same elements under different themes and periods working the Clockwork Orange system of showing an overload of violence to be anti-violence and anti-war , considering all of the mentioned animated flicks I seen from Miyazaki Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds was the one with the strongest clearest messages lacking today’s politically correct masks. If you ask me Nausicaä couldn’t be made today without getting banned with horrible rating from you know and missing the target audience while making no profits at all , I hope for a rescreening of it in the western world someday.

But I should stop with about Nausicaä n’ momonokee and Kiki which all were very good movies with fine messages , it’s just that today we’re discussing spirited away .. which is by my opinion the most complete Miyazaki film.

Spirited Away has all the ingredients to cook a classic fairy tale, although I believe many of the popular legends like Alice in the Wonderland and The Wizard of OZ are based on reality. I also believe in tooth fairies and Teenage Mutant Turtle Ninjas but we shall leave fact and evidence providing to another day.

I wouldn’t give away the story which makes it all interesting to you. just say there are brave but naïve lil’ girls, Greedy and Kind Witches , Monsters and dragons who’re seeking for love and all the creatures you could imagine for self entertainment all packed in a dark-but-remaining-so-called-“cute”-humor wooh.. Some may claim this not a movie for children, I say this what children should watch along with Moomin Valley stories instead of any the current shit that gets collectable cards if you want our world to get anywhere better.

Overall this is one of the best animation movies I seen in my life maybe not technically (don't you think there's lacking in this department  ...) but spiritually for sure.

I have found, through a handful of experiments, that a good alcohol base to use, a true "neutral spirit," is Smirnoff® 80-proof (red-label) vodka.
