Reviews come late so does fate.. Another Year passed and seems that we somehow managed to slip away from reviewing the first installment of Tolkien's epic fantasy, a fantasy so popular which even the Beatles wanted to produce.

Lord of The Rings is a product of Fat Hippie revolution ,Peter Jackson the director of the cultish Zombie slasher "Braindead" and of the super-fun ghost flick Starring Michael J Fox known (if at all) as The Frighteners.

The Fat Hippie revolution gang concludes the following directors : There's Peter Jackson , Kevin Smith , Robert Avery and Mike Figgis. All of them top notch directors but none of them got the chance working with budgets as big as our new Zealandish friend.

Pete Jackson is what would've happened if Sam Ramie could produce more visually and content quality flicks which are as fun as Raimi's.

Raimi got "Evil Dead" , Jackson got "Braindead" (aka Dead Alive) , Raimi got Spider-man(tm) , Jackson got Lord Of The Rings , they both seem on the same trail so far.

I will put shortly the breakdown on the mess this film about , There's a Ring that can destroy the world in the wrong hands (ala H Bomb) , apparently there are no "good hands" and the Ring must Be destroyed , A Group of fat legged midgets known as the hobbits travel half of the fuck'n middle-earth (their fairy tail imaginary world) to get in the shits to annihilate la ring .. all very complex in character relations but no real sense or logic in their journey that follows the current wars and events on middle earth that will cause chaos and lack of them future theme parks and fast food chains for children hobbits to lay their dirty feet on.

Visually this perhaps a breakthrough with character modeled ,textured with animation that  suppress any of the seen imaginary support actors with only few minor flaws, Golum Is the most advance Leprechaun since the original Leprechaun movie, imagine the terror of the Leprechaun and imagine the expansion of this shivering terror it in lord of the rings where they got him naked.

Overall this is a very nice production with bit more engaging story from the first part , battle scenes and camera work is great as previous which are more polished here with almost same good roughness.

Hope the Third Part will be close the edges right and make the next generation of degenerates dressing up funny , hope there will be a female version of the naked Golum costume.
